ABOUT THE CONCESSION – Exclusivity and luxury define the residences of The Concession. Only 236 golf and custom estate homes are planned for our 1,200 virgin acres of century-old oaks, towering pines and protected wetlands. The majority of The Concession homesites are at least an acre, ensuring a stately, private setting for grand estate living. Considered one of the most desirable gated-community addresses in South Florida, The Concession offers residents privacy and exclusivity, yet convenient access to nearby downtown Sarasota. Our residents frequent the area’s bustling arts and entertainment scene, and bask in the year-round sunshine, as Sarasota was recently unveiled as the ‘No. 1 Best Place to Retire’ by U.S. News & World Report.

ABOUT THE CONCESSION GOLF CLUB – In 2004, golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Tony Jacklin set out to find the perfect piece of land for a championship golf course. What they found was an 1,200-acre setting full of wildlife minutes from downtown Sarasota. The inspiration for the course was their iconic moment at The Ryder Cup, and the result was just as grand. The Concession Golf Club debuted as Golf Digest’s ‘Best New Private Course’ in 2006. In 2009, Golfweek named The Concession as the ninth ‘Best Residential Course’ in the United States.

The course sits on 520 acres and is a nature-rich design full of thought-provoking strategic challenges winding around wetlands, 150-foot pines and 200-year-old oaks. With barely a home in view, the expansive layout often provides the golfer the feeling of having the place to themselves. There are no parallel fairways, and each hole is routed in a different direction to promote varying wind conditions throughout your round – a characteristic unique to only the world’s most elite courses.

At The Concession you can live the life you’ve always dreamed of. Please register below to schedule your private community tour, and we’ll be in touch soon.
