The downtown Sarasota Quay project has been in the works for quite some time, and we have now found out what will be the first to pop-up in this empty space.
An 18-story condominium building called the Grande, will be breaking ground on the southwest corner of just across from the Ritz-Carlton. This 73-unit tower will include a 9,500-square-foot restaurant which will overlook what will eventually become the main plaza of the entire Quay project.
The Grande and the Ritz-Carlton will eventually be connected by a pedestrian bridge for easy access to both properties.
The West Palm beach developers, Kolter Group, will be heading the development of the Grande. They have just recently completed the Westin Hotel just down the street.
